Denver Int’l Airport is actually about 25 minutes NE of Denver, so it may look like you’re landing in the middle of farming fields, but don’t worry, you’re in the right place!
East/West Terminal Airlines
DIA has an east and a west terminal. Get dropped off at the east terminal if you’re taking any of these airlines:
-Alaska
-American
-Boutique
-British Airways
-Delta
-Frontier
-Jet Blue
-Southwest
-Spirit
The west terminal has these airlines:
-United
-Delta
-AeroMexico
-Turkish Airlines
-Lufthansa
-Sun Country
-Allegiant
-AirFrance
-WestJet
-Icelandair
-Copa Airlines
-Cayman Airways
-Air Canada
-Edelweiss Air
If you happen to get dropped off at the wrong terminal, no worries, the east and west sides are in the same building so you can walk from one side to the other. It’s not like some airports where getting from one terminal to another involves getting on a train.
Levels at DIA
The different levels of DIA can be confusing when figuring out where you need to go. Here’s the breakdown for exiting the airport at different levels:
-Level 6: Departures- where you get dropped off for your flight, check in your luggage.
-Level 5: This is the level you want to exit the airport on if you are catching a bus, ride share, or a shuttle to the rental car location or a hotel. Baggage claim and the south security checkpoint are also here.
-Level 4: Arrivals- where you get picked up after exiting baggage claim. This is where you get picked up by a friend or family member and they have the enforcers out there keeping everything moving.
